On this shoot, we learned that kangaroos don’t like hop directly in front of the giant green screen that you have set up for them. They like to hop all over the set and the best you can do, is chase them with the camera. So in a time before Mocha, the team and I spent countless hours rotoscoping that kangaroo. One month after the launch, Adobe released the roto brush in After Effects. I cried. But we won a stack of awards. So yay!
